That's right, using XP Professional at home and i have
this irritating problem I can't seem to be able to
isolate. When I sign in to Windows I see my nice blue
background but it doesn't go anywhere for approx 2mins.
BUT at anytime that I am at this point if I press spacebar
or any other key Windows will continue to load my desktop.
I have checked my startup programs, my registry etc and I
don't see anything that could cause this, it seems to be
Windows itself that is doing it. I have used Bootvis and
it hasn't said or shown anything.. It's not a huge problem
obviously, but a very irritating one. I don't overclock or
anything of the sort, all my drivers and Dx are all
current and I have no outstanding updates. Just seems to
be no way to figure out what occurs after signing in.
Perhaps it is negotiating the network. I have a LAN and a
DSL ISP connection(software login software that occurs
after desktop loaded, Bell Sympatico)
Windows XP Pro w/SP1, Intel P4 2GHz, 768MBram, ATI 9700,
Audigy2
