with HP Image comes up as Twain Invaild Any more Ideas/

You need to find an XP driver for your scanner - what is the model
number?

Plustek is out of business AFIK, for several years. If you can find an
XP driver for your model scanner, which is unfortunately unlikely, you
might find as I did that the driver and XP are not TWAIN compatible with
scans barely acceptable; that is after figuring out how to make the
parallel port work in XP. A source is www.driverguide.com.
