Plus or Minus?

A friend has just told me that his burner can burn plus & minus disks?
He doesn't know the brand or model, I thought it was only one or the other.
Can some burn both?

Most, if not all, modern DVD writers can burn both + and - disks.

Not only "some," but in fact, *most* do these days.

And the principal reason is that nobody will buy a drive that cannot handle
both formats.
