Plug in a video camera

I have a video camera, it has a link to t.v and is that
the same link i use to plug it into the computer? And if
so which outlet do i plug it into.

If it's an analog camcorder you need analog capture hardware and software...
if it's a digital camcorder then it needs a firewire card.
