Capturing Video w/ Windows Movie Maker

Hi there,
I'm trying to capture video using Window's Movie Maker.
I have a Hi8 Sony Handycam (CCD-TRV108 NTSC).

It's not very old so I'm not sure what's the problem.
Using the cord I usually use to hook the video camera to the TV in order to
watch videos, I plugged the cord into my HP computer. I put the yellow plug
in the yellow Composite Video 2 slot, and the black plug in the the audio 2
slot.

I turn on the video camera and set it to 'player', and begin to play the
video.

When I go to capture video, nothing appears on the Preview screen, and I
only see video and sound on the screen of the video camera.

I think the problem might have something to do with the video capture
device. In the wizard menu, the only device they have avaliable to use is
Conexant Falcon II NTSC Video Capture. This is not my video camera, so maybe
that has something to do with it.

What is the problem? Am I doing something wrong.

Thanks for the help!

The Conexant is the drivers relating to the Capture Device (ie whatever the
yellow composite video is a part of) and not the camcorder.
