pls Pls help system auto restarts

Hi, Complete novice, got a laptop ( win xp os pentium 3) from my cousin, he
cleaned it all up b4 giving it to me, I tried to put up the internet on it
and everytime i log on the internet i get this msg: LSA Shell (export
Version) has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please inform
microsoft and it gives me the option to send or not to send a report.. After
a few minutes i also get another error msg from NT Authority\ system.:
C\windows/system 32/lsass.exe terminated unexpectedly with code 107374...(
did not have time to write whole code)Then it gives me 60 sec b4 restarting
the system. Not sure what to do. any help much appreciaed Thanks.

Hi,

This is the relatively old sasser virus. Please see:

To stop the shutdown, click start/run, type "shutdown -a" (without the
quotes) and click ok.
