please wait while windows configures microsoft office enterprise 2

Win XP Service Pack 3, Office 2007, Outlook 2003 (Did not upgrade Outlook).

This set up worked for over a year now. Since two days, every time Outlook
fetches new email - this only happens when there is new mail - i get this
error:

A dialog box opens up:
"please wait while windows configures microsoft office enterprise 2007"

How to fix it?
If there are no new messages, I don't get that dialog box.

Office 2007 is an VL version? Was Office 2003 also one. (Yes I understand your
issue)
