"Please wait while Outlook exits"

When closing Outlook 2000, I get this message at the end,
as do we all, and it hangs and will not close properly.

Been too - http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=834005 and
it says I need a hotfix for this.

Any one have this hotfix?? I don't really want to pay to
get something so simple.

Or any other ideas to stop the programme hanging - I have
to ctrl alt delete to shut outlook.

It won't cost anything for you to call that number and obtain the fix. I have done this several times and they are very helpful and of course FREE!

Typically Microsoft want to track people with problems, especially new problems or hotfixes before they are freely downloadable. I've received this and many other patches for free, jsut by calling them.
