PLEASE stop stealing focus when automated scan starts

If you're playing any type of D3D full screen game then
the antispyware client tries to be the foreground
application, causing a number of games to fail. Excuse
me if this sounds like a rant, but heck I WANT to play
games at 2am and whilst I could change the time for the
scan my PC does not stay on all the time... indeed, if I
let the scan start - then play the game it's fine - it's
just the situation when the game is already playing and
the scheduled scan starts.
It's not hard to fix, just don't force the application
focus... please

Thanks, Mike

Thanks for speaking up. This issue has aroused ire since
the beginning of the beta. I feel reasonably sure that
it is on the minds of the beta2 developers.

But wait, did I miss something here? The Spyware Scan
Scheduler includes these two options:

[] Do not display scan results.

[] Do not display scan progress.

Have you tried checking those? You can also eliminate the
pop-ups, if that is bugging you...

I'm not convinced those options are, in fact, effective, fwiw. I may be
wrong, but I believe I've seen reports here of those options failing.

This is a really old thread, I hope someone is still watching it. I'm using Oracle at work, and it is SO impolite! Oracle programs routinely grab the focus when I'm typing something, so that what I type goes to the wrong program... to add insult to injury, the offending program then squawks at me for whatever I'm typing.

I use TweakUI every morning to make sure the DO-NOT-STEAL-FOCUS flag is set. I have checked HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\ForegroundLockTimeout to make sure it contains 30d40. Still, these obnoxious programs steal the focus.

Does anyone have any other ideas?
