I had network with no problems. My desktop crashed and I can't get it to
connect back to the network. It has Windows 98. My laptop has xp and works
fine. my son's laptop has 2000 and works fine. Both laptops are wireless,
the laptop is connected to the ms720 base station with a cable. I have tried
everything the help topics suggest and still can't connect to the internet.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Please post back to this thread with more details such as:

1. What does "my desktop crashed" mean? Did you have to format the drive
and reinstall Win98? If you did not completely reinstall, what were the
problems and what have you done to fix them?

2. You have cable or DSL using a router (I'm not familiar with the ms720
base station - is it a wireless router)? Is the Win98 desktop attached
to the router by ethernet cable? If you reinstalled Windows, did you
also install drivers for your network card?

3. What does "tried everything the help topics suggest" mean? What have
you actually tried?
