PLEASE REPORT SRCHASST

I'm running a program which monitors hijack attempts in
real time...
about every 5 minutes "srchasst" attempts to reauthor my
searching preferences...
No program I have can remove it...
I can't remove it...
IT BLOCKS ALL MY ATTEMPTS TO REPORT IT
ANYONE & EVERYONE
PLEASE DO SO FOR ME

srchasst needs to be in the definitions but isn't
 
It changes the search registry keys. You should be able to
reset these using MSAS, Tools, advanced tools, browser
hijack restore. Restore to default settings all the ones
that have a URL with srchasst.

Or, if you google for remove srchasst, you'll find several
registry fix downloads that do the same thing.

I agree that it should be in the definitions.
 
Also restart the computer in safe mode and run a full scan.

nope, it blocks the program from restoring defaults in
advanced tools & running in safe mode will not allow
removal -
