Please recommend program to force reboot

I am currently using Brutus 2006 to force reboot, but was wondering if
anyone has any experience with another program that works better.

Type "Shutdown -?" at the command prompt and note the '-f' switch.

XP has shutdown.exe available.

 

[Guest]

I usually use shutdown -r -f -t 000

-r is reboot
-f is force to close anything that's open
-t 000 sets the countdown timer to 0
you can also do a -m \\computername to reboot remote machines.

The brute force reboot method that is pretty much guaranteed to work
is hitting your computer's RESET button. That ought to do it.
