I have flight simulator 2004 installed on Vista, but every time I start
flight simulator, the bluescreen appears, the computer performs a memory dump
and restarts. Please help me as I have spent loads of money on add-ons for
fs9 but now can't use them!!

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

FS 2004 works for me.
Is Windows Vista a Clean Installation or upgrade?
Do you have the latest video drivers from the video card manufacturer?
Is your video card supported in windows Vista?
Are you overclocking etc?

my copy of flight sim 2004 wouldnt work once i installed the update, just
crashed on load up.
how ever i found a little bit of info on the ie3 read me which gave me a
work around.

so here it is

Flight Simulator 2004 - If Flight Simulator 2004 stops responding after you
have installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta, find the oleacc.dll file in the
Flight Simluator folder and rename it to oleacc.old. Then restart Flight
Simulator.

What about compatibility mode? Have you tried running it via the XP
compatibility mode?

You are using a beta (most probably) time limited OS for serious use?

Hi Cameron,
dont you have 2 HD (sata)?
if you dont have, get one extra and install Vista on this HD
Vista is still BETA !!!
I have 2 HD 1 XP and 1 Vista so I can test it first
its a bracked where i can change the first disk
so I dont have to worry about my data
you can allways burn it to a dvd!

Cameron,
Go the the folder where FS is installed, right click the executable file and
try run as administrator to see if you have a security issue.
