I posted twice already because haven't received a response. I will appreciate expert's advise.

No matter how I set up my Outlook 2007 to work with IMAP accounts - either the default "Download Headers for subscribed folders" or "Use the custom behavior defined below" together with Download Headers Only, when I download emails it always download the entire message.
Why can't I make Outlook download headers only? I don't want to automatically download 'heavy' messages.

Thanks in advance.

Is there a reason why no one wants to answer me?

Perhaps no one here knows. IMAP in Outlook is not the most robust transport,
in my opinion. I haven't encountered the symptoms you describe. If you've
recently installed a retail license for Outlook 2007, you should be able to
get free support from Microsoft.

Thank you.

I am just wondering how can this be if there is a specific settings in
Outlook to choose between downloading headers only or entire message.
Strange.

I just called MS, they do not provide free support to 'volume licensed'
products, they referred me to our IT person. Brilliant.

That's why I specifically mentioned "retail license".
