Please HELP!!

When trying to load website on IE6, it keeps sending me a
message saying "the page cannot be displayed and sends me
to a link that starts off with www.perfectnav.com then
proceeds to show information about the actual web address
I was trying to visit. For instance if I was trying to
load yahoo, it sends me to this link
(http://www.perfectnav.com/index.cfm?
action=lookup&pc=pnkz&arg=DNS&Keywords=http://www.yahoo.co
m/&uid=8CFDA151-F037-4151-8C31-
BE6DB6CEA097&version=1.5.0) and doesn't load any website.
Please help. I've tried everything I could think of as I
am only a novice when it comes to computers.

Install, UPDATE and run.
You may need to reboot and run again to clean all the nasties that cannot be
deleted at once ("in use").

Also excellent is SpyBot Search & Destroy available here:

Install, UPDATE and run.
You may need to reboot and run again to clean all the nasties that cannot be
deleted at once ("in use").
You should also apply the "immunize" function, since it blocks roughly 1700
known 'bad' runs/apis/apps.

Even if Ad-Aware and SpyBot S&D are similar, they do clean different things.
You should have both of them and use REGULARLY.

You can also install "preventive" software that will help you control these
nasties:

SpywareBlaster:
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
Avoids malicious Active X installs.
Advantage: no system resources used!!!
Just download, install and UPDATE.

All of them extremely useful but you must keep them UPDATED.

Suggestion: Make sure you can see all files and folders and run Ad-aware and
Spybot S&D in Safe Mode.
