please help

i have xp home edition windows and i am having trouble
with internet explorer. i had verson 6 on uninstalled it
and put verson 6.1 sp on. It still does same thing, when
it comes on it just fades away. I can not keep it on
screen. I have contacted dell and also aol, am not
getting results from eith one. Please help

To reinstall IE, run this edit then redownload and install.

Reinstall IE and/or Reinstall OE (Line 114)

After running this edit, rename the CatRoot2 folder (Windows\CatRoot2) and
then go to Start/Run, and type :
"rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132
%windir%\inf\ie.inf"
