PLEASE HELP

I had Winxp with SP2 with two partitions, (C: & D:). Somehow someting
got corrupted and so I reinstalled windows on the C partition, but now
I can't access the D: drive, and I absolutely need to access it in
order to atleast backup my documents. Can somebody please help me???

What does 'can't access' mean, exactly? Perhaps you merely need to take
ownership....

What I mean is that when I click on my D: partition from my computer,
it asks me if I wanta format the drive and does not show my any of the
drive contents at all.

Youch. Do you have any idea what got corrupted?
How did you reinstall windows?
