Please help...!

I am running Office 2003 and had McAfee Internet Suite installed on same PC.
Because I'm switching to a different product I decided to uninstall McAfee,
but
since then I get the following error everytime I open Outlook:

"The add-in c:\program files\mcafee.com\vso\outcan.dll could not be installed
or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the
Help Menu"

Well....I've run every single option of Detect and Repair but problem still
there.
It cost me the loss of all my emails. Ok so I uninstalled Office and
reinstalled
it, guess what still same error. Clean the registry of anything with "mcaffe"
in it, but still no luck. At wit's end.

Any help advice greatly appreciated.

Have you tried deleting your Extend.DAT file then restarting Outlook?
