Please help with saved password problem

I inadvertently set IE to prompt to save passwords and saved a password -
just one. When I realized what I did, I reset the option. Now, whenever I
log into the site, the password is automatically filled in. I clicked
"clear passwords" in IE hoping that the password would be cleared, but an
hourglass appears and won't go away. While the hourglass is still
displayed, I close IE to get the window off my screen and I get a message
that says the program is not responding. Consequently, I cannot clear the
password and, no matter what I do, I can't make IE stop filling in the
password for the site. Please help. I do not want IE filling in any
passwords automatically. I am on XP SP2. Thank you.

Thank you for your help. I have deleted all cookies that I can find for the
site and it still automatically completes the password. Is the cookie
anywhere other than in the temporary internet file folder?
