Please help with removal of epolicy orchestrator

Does anyone know how to safely remove epolicy orchestrator from my PC?
I'm running Windows XP.

Mcafee Virus protection was required by my college when I lived on
campus and now I want to switch to use a different antivirus. I
successfully uninstalled McAfee via the add/remove programs function in
windows XP, but I can't figure out how to remove the epolicy
orchestrator that was installed on my computer.

I've tried deleting the folder in my registry, but it comes back after
I reboot my computer.

I did some searching and found some info about removing the program,
but all the files are from several years ago. I don't know much about
regedit, so I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing for XP.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi ... See if this helps

How to Remove McAfee
a.. Windows with ePolicy Orchestrator agent
There are two steps to removing McAfee on a Windows computer:
1.. Remove ePolicy Orchestrator agent by clicking on Start -> Run and
typing (or copy and paste) the following:
"C:\Program Files\Network Associates\Common Framework\FrmInst.exe"
/remove=agent

2.. Uninstall McAfee Virus Scan -> Go to the Control Panels -> Add
Remove Programs and remove McAfee.

A box popped up that says "Mcafee agent and updater installation" with
notes in it that say:
searching for previous install, previous install found, switching to
upgrade mode, the command line parameters specified are invalid, the
installation was not successfull.

Was I suppose to copy paste that including the quotation marks?... like
this:
"C:\Program Files\Network Associates\Common Framework\FrmInst.exe"
/remove=agent

I copied it directly from the site with the quotation marks and it
worked perfectly!

I can't believe how difficult they make it to remove EPO!

Thanks again.
