PLEASE HELP ME!

CBEYL

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FREE UP SPACE ON MY LAPTOP. IT HAS BEEN RUNNING VERY
SLOW. I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER AND I DOWNLOAD TONS OF IMAGES DAILY. I STARTED
DELETING FILES THAT I THOUGHT I NO LONGER NEEDED. I DELETED A FOLDER (
RECENTLY CHANGED). MY ORIGINALS PICTURES; AFTER EDITING THEM FOR HOURS IN
PHOTOSHOP; WERE SAVED IN THERE ORIGINAL FOLDERS, BUT ONCE I DELETED THE
IMAGES THAT WERE IN THE RECENTLY CHANGED FOLDER ALL OF MY IMAGES WERE DELETED
FROM ALL MAIN FOLDERS. I CHECKED THE RECYCLE BIN TO RESTORE THEM, BUT THAT
FOLDER NEVER DID SHOW. WHEN I OPEN RECENTLY CHANGED THE IMAGES ARE THERE. I
THOUGHT I COULD DRAG THEM BACK OR BURN THEM TO A CD AND THEY WOULD BE THERE.
WRONG! THEY WILL NOT DRAG. THEY WILL ALLOW ME TO BURN THEM, BUT ONCE I DRAG
THEM TO THE ORIGINAL FOLDER - IT TELLS ME THAT THE FILE IS NO LONGER IN THAT
LOCATION. IM CLUELESS AND HAVE SPENT SEVERAL OF HOURS TRYING TO FIGURE THIS
OUT. I DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER COPY OF THESE IMAGES ON ANY OTHER PC OR CD. I
CANT SEEM TO LOCATE WHERE OR THE NAME OF THE FILE LOCATION. YOUR HELP IS
GREATFULLY APPRECIATED. THANKS SO MUCH.

Posting in all caps is considered shouting, and may not illicit any help.
Also makes for hard reading

I used Word 2000 and selected the Change case... menu command in the Format
menu and corrected your post, which follows.

deleting files that i thought i no longer needed. I deleted a folder (
recently changed). My originals pictures; after editing them for hours in

images that were in the recently changed folder all of my images were
deleted
from all main folders.

From you explanation, I am not sure what you did so I cannot give you any
specific suggestions. Here is a general one which may help you.

Do the following from another computer and not the one with the deleted
photos. Look for an undelete program. Diskeeper (www.diskeeper.com) has one.
If you search the Internet you will find many others you can try. When a
file is deleted, it is not erased. It is marked as deleted and the first
character of the name is changed. However, if you add more files to the
computer, it will overlay the "deleted" files. The undelete programs finds
the files and restores them, if they have not been written over. It is best
to run this program as soon as possible so your files are not overlaid.

Good luck.

You can try to recover your files with Easy File Undelete:

http://www.munsoft.com/EasyFileUndelete/

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software
either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.
