please help me with sticky like key effects

Hi,

Being the rabid, uncouth typer that I am, I'm misskeying all the time.

SO I ran into the sticky keys pronlem, but I leanred how to disable
them.

However, after a typing fit, I'm getting a similar effect, as if the
<ctrl> key were permanently pressed.

In many cases it prevents me from entering text altogether. Can
anybody shed some light? I'd really like to disable this also. I
searched here in Groups, but I didn't get anything.

First, try a different keyboard. Keyboards don't last forever. If that
solves the problem, trash the old one. If it doesn't, then please post
back.
