Hi all.
This is my first post here but I hope you can help me.
About a year or so ago I cam across the most useful and brilliant
little program ever for helping to get answers on all manner of IT and
Internet/PC problems.
It required Dot Net framework to be installed..I remember that as I had
win98 at the time so it was a hassle but I did it and, was so glad I
did.
The programs interface was a simple dialogue/window that resembled a
half screen sized browser. the borders were blue colour.
There was a list on the left side of possible searches...something like
MSDN, GOOGLE GROUPS
(Other Tech related sites that I forget now)
You simply entered the search term on the right and then clicked which
one of the places you wanted to search and the program returned a load
of, usually very relevant, results!
You even had the option to search all at once.
The results were all browsable from within the programs interface a la
browser.
This was the best search and PC help tool EVER!
And it was FREE!
PLEASE....have you the slightest idea what I am going on about?
LEt me know what this program is called so I can get it again.
A hint...
I seem to remember that the title of it started with the letter 'S'.
Help me!
