My computer seems to all of a sudden start slowing down
in spurts, like the cursor will one time start to lag and
no want to go anywhere without having to make the mouse
move 100's of times, and then it will be fun, its like
slow and then fast and then a couple mins later the mouse
will lag again, and I have found out it just does not do
this when I open up Internet Explorer 6 and the browser
ahs been messing up to like sometimes the cursor will not
change from the circle w/ the slash symbol to the hand
symbol and letters sometimes display as dashes. So i
closed this browser and noticed it lagging on the desktop
perodically also. Please e-mail me with any and all help
possible I will be very appreciative.

Thanks Computer user in despair

If that isn't the problem see
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
