Can anyone help??? Every time I click a link in an email from Outlook
Express, all Internet Explorer 6 windows crash and I get an error message.
Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Sometimes it doesn't crash, like if I happen to have an email open that I'm
writing like this one, it won't crash...but other than that...it will always
crash.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hey Don,

I'm looking right at the Internet Explorer error message and it reads:

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience....." et cetera.

When I click on the details link, it says:

Error signature
AppName: iexplor.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217 Offset: 00019ecd

Any idea what all this means and what I have to do to fix it??

Thanks,
Jeff

Some possibilities:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=810887
and:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=293623

Other options would be to check for problems:

AdAware:
http://www.lavasoft.de/

SpyBot S & D:
http://beam.to/spybotsd

CWShredder & HijackThis:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Always check for updates before running any of these programs.

If all else fails, post to the newsgroup for your OS, or IE6 as this
is Outlook Express NG:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.setup
