Please help, I have tried everything that I can think of.

I have a 2000 server with SP4. It has worked just fine
for about 3 years. Now the task scheduler will not start.
When I try to start it I get This:
(Could not start Task scheduler service on local
computer. Error 2147750673 Corruption was detected in the
task scheduler security database; the database was
reset.)
I have tried everything that I can think of with no luck.

Have you checked the Microsoft Knowledge Base

Try installing Mstask.inf from the Winnt\INF folder. When prompted, point to
your original Windows CD, not the ServicePackFiles folder. Once done, reboot
the server, and then install Service Pack 4 again. Be sure to disable your
anti-virus software during the process.
