Unable to boot my Windows XP Pro computer - message is "NTLDR is missing"

Advise greatly appreciated.

TIA

1. Change the BOOT order in your BIOS to boot from CD.
2. Insert Windows XP Bootable CD and boot from it.
3. When windows prompts your press R to enter in Recovery Console.
4. Log in to your Windows installation by pressing 1
5. You will be prompted for Administrator account password. Type the
password and press enter. If there is no password then press enter key.
6. Now, copy the following 2 files to the root directory. In example, I am
assuming that your CD-ROM drive has assigned letter E:

COPY E:\I386\NTLDR C:\
COPY E:\I386\NTDETECT.COM C:\

The Drive Letter for your CD-ROM could be different. Replace the E with your
CD-ROM drive letter. Suppose, if you have 3 partitions on your hard disk
C,D,E then most probably your computer will assign the letter F to your
CD-ROM.

Once the files are copied, remove the Cd and restart your PC.

Hope this help, let us know!!
