Playing mp3s from Internet Explorer...Help!

I need help with something. I wrote this message to Microsoft asking for help
and they gave me the run-around and told me to contact Gateway about it.
Gateway gave me the run-around and told me (among many useless things) to
come here. I'm hoping someone here can help me. Here's my problem:

I developed an offline webpage to link to the mp3s on my computer. I
made it to where when click on an mp3 link, the mp3 opens and plays. The
problem is that Internet Explorer prompts me every time by asking
whether I want to save the file or open it. I need a way to be able to
click the link and have the mp3 automatically open without a prompt.
When I click on a link to one of my m3u playlists, Internet Explorer
automatically opens my playlist in winamp (my mp3 player of choice).
Please tell me how I can change my settings or modify the registry to be
able to play mp3s from just a click...no prompt. And I need them to open
in my default mp3 player (winamp) just as they do after the prompt now.

Also, here's a screenshot of the prompt I get that I no longer want to
have:

DerekP,
The following is found at the WinAmp forums, for reinstating the download confirmation. Just to the reverse. Look at postings by billyvnilly to change settings in file types and IE at:

I've already tried all of those methods and nothing works. Thanks anyways.
Any other ideas?

Would you share your web site and maybe we can go look at it to see if we
find anything to help?

I can't put it online because that would require putting all the mp3s on
there. I guess I could make a simple page with an mp3 link on it for people
to see. let me know if that would help and i'll do it later.
