It is not possible with MM2. You'd need to import your
MM2-saved movie into a third-party DVD Authoring application,
and use that to author & burn the DVD.

The newer versions of both applications you mentioned would recognize any
output "movie" from Windows Movie Maker. Make sure you have saved a movie
(.wmv or .avi) not just the porject.
If you have Nero Vision Express 2. Select "Create a New Movie" from the
first screen.
If you have MyDVD 5, create DVD Project and then select "Add movie".
For older version of MyDVD you need to export in dv avi format from Movie
Maker anf the use that to amke your dvd.

I am having trouble also. I create a finished movie with titles & wipes. I save it. I realize WMM can't burn a DVD. I tried to import the DV_AVI file into Pinnacle studio 8, but it wouldn't recognize it.
Next I imported it into Sony's 'Click to DVD'. It brought the move in fine, but there was no sound with it. The weird thing is, going back into WMM, it plays fine with sound. Also, Windows media player plays it fine as well. Am I missing a Codec?
I prefer to use WMM to Pinnacle 8, because I like its effects & text capabities better. Can you recommend a low proced solution to bring in the .wmv file to burn the finished product to a DVD.
MM2 creates Type-1 DV-AVI files, which are not always
compatible with other video editing or DVD authoring
programs. You may need to convert the MM2-generated
Type-1 to Type-2 DV-AVI before you can import it into
other programs.
