Should I reinstall MM...and how??

I have MM2 and successfully saved my movie to a DVD-R and plays wonderfully
on my DVD player....

Made another movie, nothing different and MM "says" it is successfully saved
but when I try to play on same DVD player nothing happens...tried a totally
different player and same thing!

Come back to my PC and the new movie will only play using Windows Media
Center.

What is wrong??

Do I have a problem with the MM software and need to reinstall (and how,
this was bundled in the software when I purchased the computer 4+ years ago).

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you have not saved it to dvd the same way as you did the
first, amybe making a data dvd instead of a dvd video.

Use explorer to see what file types are on the disc and let us know.
