Playing CDs

Can someone tell this old man how to get my Windows XP to
play a CD? All the hardware's there and waiting, but I
don't know how to get it going. Thanks.

Open wmp,tools,options,make sure all the boxes are check-
ed in the,file types box.Configure the others,you can
also install the cd,R.click the folder or track,choose,
"open with",open with wmp.Also in tools,choose,"search
for media files".

Download QCD, an excellent FREE CD player. It will also play MP3s.
