playing cds

can someone please help.when i load a cd it plays ok.if i double click the cd
icon in my computer i get a message saying,this file does not have a programe
acossiated with it for performing this action.create an acossiation in the
folder options control panel.ive been to this and cant make sense of it.it
asks for a file extention and i havnt a clue what to do with it.double
clicking the cd icon in my computer used to work fine,so why not now?.all
help would be appreciated.thanx.

Try this...
In Windows Explorer, click TOOLS menu|FOLDER OPTIONS|FILE TYPES and scroll
to the CDA item. Associate it with Windows Media Player.
