Does anyone know the best way to play an mpeg in powerpoint?

If I were trying to do that, the first place I would go is to the Help
section in PowerPoint. I would search on mpeg and I'll bet there would be a
lot of information there. The next thing I would try is Google. I would
search on "mpeg in PowerPoint" and I know there would be loads more
information there.

Have you tried the PowerPoint newsgroups?

His AT webpage is gone too. It was a great site.
If you search, you will find him on some political groups and blogs.

Yeah, I know I liked all of his websites. Thanks. It's nice to know he
still has some kind of an online presence.
