Playing a FLAC Audio File?

Got some music which is a FLAC file extension.

Had a look via google but any good convertors to use to play the music with?[FONT=&quot]http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/flac[/FONT]

General consensus on Google seems to be Foobar2000 and Mediamonkey both are free too!

VLC is favourite for a few folks here.

Just downloaded VLC after Mediamonkey.
Since the virus wiped my pc & the rebuild have lost a lot of software.
Now i do regular backups to DVD-R discs!

is preferable to use a second hard drive ... it'll back-up in the background so you can forget it.

I've been using Winamp more or less since it was first released and it plays FLAC files just fine.

In fact that's all I ever use for audio playback on my media machine, Winamp.

I tried VLC, couldn't get on with it meself, but I tried.

Ive used WinAMP for about 18years now and love it

Use VLC for video and what not.

WinAmp just rules, Flac files are the way to go for good quality audio.
