Playing a Custom Sound

Hi Folks!

I have a pop-up that cycles among 5 clients in turn to alert the user of an
opportunity. I would love to play a non-Windows event sound when this
happens, but I cannot seem to find a way to do this in Access2002. Does
anyone have an idea...thanks, it would be really great to accomplish this as
my users are not always right in front of their computers when the pop-up
appears!!!

Hi Graham...thanks so much for you help!!! As soon as I figured out that I
had to specify the full path and not just let it assume the directory in
which the program resides it worked like a charm!! Then, just for fun I
spent a couple of hours surfing for wav files that would be noticable
without being irritating...settled on the doorbell sound from the old TV
show the Jetsons...not sure if it ever played in Oz but it sure was popular
here at one time...
