Playback unrecognisable

I have saved a project as a movie but when playing it back the video is a
blur of vivid colours making it unrecognisable (except text that is legible,
but again in the wrong colours: predominantly red). I saved it using default
settings for playback on my computer.

Any ideas?

It's possible that some DirectShow filter on your system is causing us
problems. Try going to the compatibility tab and turning off the filters
that show up there to see if it helps.

Thank-you for your reply.

After making the post, my computer offered me an auto update of Windows
media Player, to version 10. After updating, the movie plays back fine.
