Having completed and saved my video to the harddisk, I am
unable to save on to CD because I have some 85Mb of film
too much for the CD capacity ( The video is 60 mins
long). I can of course go back to Timeline and trim or
delete various clips etc. However, as I shall need to do
this randomly throughout the video to achieve the best
editing, it will throw all the remaining audio, narration
and transition clips out of sequencee. Is ther a way
round this. Many thanks.

Assuming your goal is a WMV file on the CD, you can save it with different
setting.... use the option in MM2 to constrain the file size to what you
want.... and then copy the WMV file to a data CD.
