Play notes using MSOffice

I want to write a basic application to help me learn how to recognise musical intervals by ear. The only software I have available
is MSOffice. Does anyone know how to use this to program a WinXP computer to play musical notes? Thanks for any advice.
 
I don't think MSOffice can make a sound... unless if you
count the annoying beeps when you need to save documents
and so forth.

It's OK, I've found some info on the web which explains how to
write VBA code to play a midi file which gives me what I want.
