Planing Question

Hi all,

I need to create a DB for inventory.
There going to be 260 records each day. Records should last for at least 3
years.
Is Access is strong enough to handle it or should I look for other solution?
What are the limitations of Access?

I currently working with Access 2003

You should be able to enter records for at least 20 years before having to
archive. Your chief concerns on whether or not to use Access is internal
security, number of concurrent users. A well designed database can usually
accommodate 20 to 50 users. It can easily be secured well enough for
unsophisticated users, but a really determined bad guy can get through, so
the sensitivity of the data may be a concern.

of course you should be usnig SQL Server; and you should find someone
that knows SQL Server

SQL Server IS NOT any harder to use than Access; and because it's the
same price-- and it's tremendously better-- you should use a real
database like SQL Server

Access will not work with 20 users; I've had serious problems with a
half-dozen users in a single small office with only 25 mb of data (a
couple of thousand rows in a hundred tables)
