In my email signature I want to type my details so I my website link is
active, which works fine. But then I want to place my company logo above this.

Is this possible with WM?? Can anyone help with this?

Much appreciated.

Create a small HTML file to use the graphic similar to the following:

--------------------------------------------------------------
<HTML>
<BODY>
<IMG src="file://c:\myimages\myimage.jpg"> <==path to your desired image
file
</BODY>
</HTML>

Make sure the full path to the image is included as the src.
Then go to Tools | Options | Signatures and designate that file as your
HTML signature after checking the File button at the bottom.

Before I had Windows Vista, I had an email signature which included an image.

I have tried inserting the image from file but it just appears as a box with
a red cross even if I create my message as Rich Text HTML. Have also tried
creating the signature in Dreamweaver and linking to the image that way but
the same thing happens.

Is this another of those quirky Windows Vista things? I have had problems
with receiving emails, installing Adobe CS3 and a Hewlett Packard printer,
the latter two requiring me to alter my registry.

On another website this evening, I have found people who seem to be
experiencing the same problem as me and the advice was to amend the registry.
Apparently there is a registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Security. It contains
a key called "OutlookSecureTempFolder ". When that key is deleted that key,
all images are supposed to show. See
http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1353596&page=8

Can anyone offer advise on whether I should proceed with this. Changing the
registry scares me immensely.

Ideally what I would like to do once I can see my images again, is to create
a signature with my website logo that links through to my website.

Would be grateful for any advice.

Thank you

You don't need to do anything special. Make sure the reference to the image
contains the full path to the image and not a relative path. Also make sure
you have "Sent pictures with message" checked under Tools | Options | Send |
Mail | HTML Settings.

I found the solution myself. I created an HTML file for the stationary and
the logo, I then selected the HTML file in the stationary options. THEN I
created the signature for the business contact details and it works fine now.
