Placing a (dot) jpg in Outlook 2003 email signature

I have placed a (dot) jpg in Outlook 2003 email before, but this is a new
install of Outlook 2003 and I cannot get the signature install to work now.

How can I install a (dot) jpg or other picture format in an email signature.
The (dot) jpg is a hand written signature, not that that makes any
difference.

Your help will be appreciated.

I followed the instructions at the website you send me to but they did not
work. Maybe though the problem was in the advanced editor. When I would save
the finished new signature there, It would not then transfer it to the
regular Outlook editor to be saved there. Either that was the problem or. . .
.. Point is I could not get it to work for me.

I very much appreciated your efforts on my behalf
