[PL] update and Xnews question, SuperFormat question

I've updated the PL pages - didn't update the Zone Alarm version yet
(due to the reported problems some users have had).

I posted this in the Keepers of the Month thread - repeating it here:

I also notice that the Pricelessware page has listed v.2.7 of

Superformat, but I've found v.2.8. I was wary because I thought that it
might have been like TurboNavigator 1.47, I.e. a later version gone
horribly wrong, but I've tried it and it seems ok. Perhaps someone else
knows more....? Anyway, it can be found here -

of DOS and Win3.1 stuff for the nostalgia buffs or, dare I say, those
who still actually use them....?!


Didn't know there was a v 2.8 - it seems that very few people do. . .

According to *The Great Guru*, Luu Tran himself, Xnews is in a perpetual
beta cycle.

If you *do* add 6.08.25 (and I recommend it; I've been using it for awhile
now and it works fine, and supports a couple of functions that I needed,
which the old one didn't), You'll have to mention that it isn't the
complete package, it's just the EXE, so they'll need to install 5.04.25
first...
