It will convert your Favorites directory into an HTML document which you
can give to others or use as a start page. A port of my Java
Application. Other features include selection of sub-folders to be
omitted from the output, order in which the folders appear and display
of URL in addition to the friendly name. The program can also be run as
a batch command using a configuration file. Details can be found in the
readme document included with the program.

IMO this kind of beerware is Requestware:

Thanks, ma'am. It's too bad that I can't use this program any more after
switching to Firefox, but I'd bet there's some utility to transfer Firefox
bookmarks to IE favorites -- or even better, maybe there's a program
similar to this one for Firefox ...

The Firefox bookmarks are *always* stored as a HTML file... ;-)

Just make a copy of the bookmarks.html file in your Firefox profile.

one of these should work - might require an extra step in the
import/export routine:

Favorites to HTML (Favourites to HTML) looks like a nice app - a folder
structure really helps when you have a lot of bookmarks.
