PL-IP3/T Upgrade Kit on P2B

Malcolm Edwards

Hi

I have just ordered a Powerleap PL-IP3/T upgrade (with celeron 1.4 GHz chip)
to upgrade my PIII 500 CPU (itself upgraded from the original PII 300) on a
P2B (Rev 1.02).

The manual on the web site mentions that all jumper settings are taken care
of on the CPU card.

Can anyone tell me if there are any settings I need to change on the
motherboard, or can I just leave the FSB and multiplier as they are?

Thanks.

Malcolm.

You can leave everything as-is, just the last BIOS (1014 beta 3) will be
needed.

PurSpyk!!

Hi

I have a similar setup, except with the 1.3GHz processor. Been running for
years without any problems. At one stage I had the processor running at
1.5GHz without any problems. I have since upgraded, and my wife uses the
older PC now, I am still amazed at the speed.

Brett
Excellent.

Thanks Stephan.
