I need help to pivot this info,

operations q1 q2 q3
TYPE A 1 1 1
TYPE A 3 3 3
TYPE A 2 2 2
TYPE A 3 2 4
TYPE A 2 2 2
TYPE A 1 2 4
TYPE A 4 2 3

To total up in pivot
Q1 total total Q2 total Q3

1 2 1 1
2 2 5 2
3 2 1 2
4 4 0 2

Kindly let me know hoe to do it in pivot table ASAP .

To get the pivot table that you want, you'll have to change the
structure of your data table. It should be set up as:

Operation Qtr Num
Type A Q1 1

To restructure your data, use the "unpivot' technique described by John
Walkenbach:

From the restructured data, create a pivot table, with Number in the
row area, Quarter in the column area, and Quarter again in the data area.
