Pivot table issue

I am creating a pivot table via a Data Access Page where I want to count the
number of items per region in a Region field. The first time I created the
pivot table not all regions were listed even though I had no filters active.
The database has over 300k records.

I exited out & tried to create it again but now Autocalc button (Σ) is
grayed out no matter what I do. What Iam I doing wrong? TIA

For some reason the autocalc button has suddenly become avaiable & I am able
to do proceed but the other issue remains where not all of the regions are
showing & I checked the total for 1 region which had a count of 29 but I
counted over 2500 in the database. As the database has 310k records, is
there a limit to what the pivot table can do? TIA
