Pivot Table Field Naming

When I add a field to the data section of my pivot table, it adds the works 'Sum of ', 'Count of ' to the field name. When I try to remove this new text, it get an error message indicating that the field already exists.
Can I not have the data field names the same as the original like in the row, column and page regions?
 
No, you can't. But you could insert an additional space (trailing space make it
look almost the same).
