Pivot help : Repeat row field labels within pivot table

Hi all,

I have a pivot table with 2 row headers, and the pivottable will not
repeat the Class headings for each row , eg :

Class Student Score
A 1 90
2 50
B 1 90
2 80

Is it possible to have the pivottable output in the following manner
instead :

Class Student Score
A 1 90
A 2 50
B 1 90
B 2 80

You can't do this and maintain the pivottable.

You could copy the pivottable to a new worksheet and convert it to values
(edit|copy followed by edit|Paste special|Values) (or you could even just
convert the pivottable itself to values).

But after you do that, you can fill the blank cells by using one of the
techniques at Debra Dalgleish's site:

Thanks for your help, that's a great solution.

If I remember correctly, this used to be an option in Excel 97, pity
Microsoft removed that.

No, Excel 97 didn't have the option to repeat the labels either.
