Pivot Chart Data Labels

Using Windows XP and Office 2007

I have created a pivot table from my data and a pivot chart (pie chart
format) from my pivot table. I am trying to format the data labels so that
they are 3-D, but that option does not seem to work. I right click on the
data labels in my pie chart and then select format data labels. When I
select the 3-D format and try to select one of the bevel options, nothing
happens. I am unable to enter any width or height point value either. Is
this just not an available option for data labels in a pie chart pivot
chart?

Excel 2007
Pie chart data labels.
Select one of 3 fills (not automatic), then
bevel (Top and/or Bottom) (1 of 12 styles) then
width and height, then surface material.

Thank you so much. Cannot imagine which step I was doing in the wrong
order, but it works just fine following your steps. Thanks!!

Another question about the data labels: it seems that the only way I can
change the size of the box I put around the data labels is to increase the
size of the font. I'd really like to center the label inside a larger box.
I don't seem to be able to resize the box by just pulling out one of the
corners. Am I missing something??

You can increase the width of the box
by adding spaces to your number.
Use Custom number format:
" "0.00%" "
The trailing spaces have to be
non-breaking space character:
ALT + 0160(on the numpad)
