Pinnacle DV card crashes PC

Can anyone tell me about a problem I have with a Pinnacle
DV 500 (ver 4.0) firewire/DV card. the problem is that I
have the card installed in the system running windows
2000, when I install ServicePack4 the machine will not
boot and blue screens at startup, if I remove SP4 the
system will boot normally, if i remove the card the system
will boot normally - however I cannot have both the card
and the service pack installed at the same time. Any help
greatly appreciated

Whats the stop error and where in the boot process does it occur? It is
most likely not a problem with the card but something with the drivers.
